As a treatment for endometriosis, surgery can be used to ease pain by removing the endometriosis, dividing holds or removing cysts.
Conservative surgery goals to remove or destroy the credits of endometriosis and is usually done via a laparoscopy (keyhole surgery). The surgeon can whichever cut out the endometriosis or end it using heat or laser. Although surgery can provide relief from symptoms, they can recur in period. Depending on the severity of your endometriosis, you may need to experience more complex surgery that includes different organs within the body, such as the bowel or the bladder. These types of surgery will often comprise a multi-disciplinary team such as a colorectal surgeon, and are usually approved out via laparoscopy. Any multifaceted surgery should be discussed thoroughly with your doctor or expert.
